Scientific papers will be published in international peer-reviewed journals with scopes comparable with water treatment and membrane engineering. Pre-eminence will be given to high-impact journals with multi-disciplinary editorial policies. Posters will be presented at scientific/technological meetings in membrane research and development. The success criterion is that at least 26 peer reviewed papers have been published/submitted at the end of the four-year funding period. Short technical reports on specific themes emerging in MEMENTO will be published and distributed to industrial contacts. These reports are intended as to provide industry engineers with ‘gists’ or highlights of the research coming out of MEMENTO and also report general scientific progress in the membrane area. The reports can also be seen as introductions to the scientific papers published by the MEMENTO research groups.
